KAMAND
Kamand
is Seattle's only traditional Iranian music ensemble. Our repertoire
ranges
from regional folk music to classical compositions. Since 2003, we have been invited
to contribute our music to many diverse community events, including Northwest Folklife Festival,
numerous benefits, and the Folklife in the Schools K-12 educational program. Kamand
dedicates every performance to increasing multicultural awareness and building
relationships of respect and appreciation within the community.
